Getting started
Coming Soon is considered an embedded app, because once it’s been installed, it will be available in your list of apps in the Shopify admin dashboard. All of your interactions with the app will begin here.
This main screen allows you to configure app-wide settings for your coming soon page. Each section has its own detailed page for more documentation.
In addition to the configuration cards, you might also notice informational banners at the top of the page. These will serve to alert you when something needs your attention.
Requirements
For Coming Soon to work, your store must:
- have Shopify password protection disabled
- have an active subscription (paid or trial)
- have a template published
If these criteria are met, you should be able to visit your-shopify-store.com/apps/coming-soon and
view the published template.
Your published template is viewable at this URL regardless of whether Coming Soon is active or inactive.
